October at ELI: Get into the rhythm, prepare for your official exam and… meet ELIot!

With September now behind us, October is the key month to get into full swing. The nerves of the first few days are over, and it’s time to focus on establishing a routine, building confidence in the language and setting our sights on the first big goals of the academic year.

Whether your goal is to achieve a Cambridge certificate or simply improve your fluency for your next trip, this autumn is packed with new activities and plenty of energy in our classrooms in Granollers. Discover everything we have prepared for you this month!

🎯 Cambridge Goal: Looking Ahead to the Near Future

The Cambridge English winter exam sessions are just around the corner. This is the perfect time to step up your exam preparation. Over the coming weeks, we’ll start working intensively with Mock Exams (realistic exam simulations) so you can manage your time effectively and approach the exam with confidence. And remember, you can now choose how you take your exam. We’ll advise you on the advantages of the traditional Paper-based format or the new Digital format.

📱 Meet ELIot, Your New Instagram Ally!

Learning a language doesn’t stop when you walk out of the school doors. That’s why this month we’re launching something very special on our social media: ELIot! Our new animated mascot has arrived on our Instagram profile (@eligrup) to bring you quick tips, pronunciation tricks and grammar advice to help you survive in English (for example, how to order a coffee without ending up with a watery one, or how to sound more like a native speaker by swapping prefer for would rather). Follow us and don’t miss out on ELIot’s videos!

🎃 Spooky Season: Halloween Week Is Here!

Learning about the culture and traditions of English-speaking countries is essential to mastering the language. During the last week of October, our classes will transform to celebrate Halloween Week. We’ll prepare themed vocabulary, fun activities and a few spooky surprises. Costumes are more than welcome!

🌍 Much More Than English: Discover German and Italian

Did you know that at ELI we’re passionate about languages in all their forms? In addition to our wide range of English courses for all ages and needs, we also teach German and Italian in our classrooms. Whether you’re looking to open up new professional opportunities with German or would like to learn Italian to fully enjoy its culture and your travels, we have qualified teachers and small groups waiting for you.
